These semi realistic renderings of the ohia lehua leaves, flowers, and buds invite the viewer in to appreciate the glorious color and vibrancy of the native Hawaiian trees. The speckled grey backdrop sets a stark contrast against the color of the blooms and hints at the encroaching ohia disease, Rapid Ohia Death, while the buds promise new life and healing.
